- Week 1: Introduction to Child Care Services: Definition and significance, types of child care settings, regulatory requirements, understanding child development (stages, physical, emotional, cognitive development, importance of early childhood experiences).
- Week 2: Health, Safety, and Nutrition: Health and Safety in Child Care Settings (common health concerns, safe environment practices, first aid and CPR basics), Nutrition and Meal Planning (importance, guidelines, meal planning, food safety).
- Week 3: Child Care Practices and Activities: Creating a Positive Learning Environment (nurturing atmosphere, promoting positive behavior, age-appropriate learning areas), Activities and Curriculum Development (planning educational activities, importance of play, incorporating arts, music, outdoor activities).
- Week 4: Communication and Family Engagement: Effective Communication with Children and Parents, Professionalism in Child Care Services (building relationships, ethical considerations, professional development opportunities).
