Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Opens Direct Degree Pathways for Trade Workers

PTI has expanded its Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Recognition of Industry Standards (RIS) assessment services. Designed for experienced workers lacking formal credentials, this initiative evaluates non-formal learning and industry experience against FNQF unit standards.

Candidates undergoing RPL assessment submit workplace portfolios, undergo practical evaluations, and complete gap-training modules. Successful candidates receive nationally recognized Level 2, Level 3, or Level 4 certificates without repeating skills they have already mastered in the field.
